The Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”) is pleased to announce the final event of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. “JR West Group Presents a Festival of Thanks and Departures ~Thank You For Everything~,” will be held on Monday, 13 October 2025 at the Expo site.
In addition, “MYAKU-MYAKU Around the World Exhibition” will be held at the Expo site on Sunday, 12 October and Monday, 13 October 2025.

(Part 1)
・Hospitality with Sake
“Craft Sake Day 2025 in Osaka” will be held, produced by JAPAN CRAFT SAKE COMPANY, represented by NAKATA Hidetoshi. Six carefully selected sake breweries from around Japan will be introduced in talk sessions, and booths will be set up where visitors can enjoy the carefully selected sake.
・Hospitality with Festivals from Japan and Abroad
“Festivals” from Japan and around the world that have been held at the Expo site during the Expo will be re-enacted. Everyone at the Expo site will be treated to a display of traditional festivals. A flag ceremony will also be held, with the participation of staff from each Official Participant.
・Flag Ceremony
A Flag Ceremony will be held, where flags from 167 countries, regions, and international organisations* will gather on stage.

(Part 2)
Five artists who have been involved in the Expo will perform songs expressing their gratitude to visitors.
(Part 3)
The Expo will be given a send-off with a video looking back on the events from the bid for the Expo to the event itself. The video will be enhanced performances by Harami-chan on the Expo Piano (a piano manufactured for Japan World Exposition Osaka 1970) and a chorus featuring students from Osaka Prefectural Yuhigaoka High School, serving as a symbolic “departure” following the Expo’s conclusion.

Please note that [Part 1] and [Parts 2 & 3] must be reserved separately. You can only view the part for which you have made a reservation.

*Legal minimum drinking age in Japan is 20. Proof of age is required to receive the complimentary sake.

Please prepare an Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan entry ticket with a visit date and time reservation for before 12:00 on the day of the event and refer to the “7-Day Advance Lottery” reservation and lottery guide before applying.

*Please note that those with an entry reservation for 17:00 or later, or a night ticket are not eligible for the lottery.
*There are no reserved seats, but only priority viewing ticket holders will be able to enter the “Priority Viewing Area” (exclusively for WESTER members) at the very front of the arena.
